I could write every one of day about how wonderful this new toshiba digital tuner dvd recorder is only won’t waste your time withy facts many won’t understand upright saying i receive be using 3 panasonic dvd recorders withy built inside analog tuners for over 3 years. I received this unit inside july when it became available then it is great. Look absolutely not further if you are looking for a dvd recorder withy a built inside digital tuner. It works flawlessly, is priced feeble toward amazon then i receive not had one coaster yet or had it not accept a particular brand of blank media even though i recommend sticking withy the superior tayio-yuden dvds made inside japan. The panasonics were every one of picky about brands of blank dvds then the different formats they can be purchased inside. I found this unit was pretty easy over set along then after scanning for every one of available channels upon my cable system i was ready over go. The recorded results i grow after recording upon any of the digital or high def channels are beautiful. To grow the best picture, i always record upon the alternate high def digital channel that is available upon every one of the major networks including 3 pbs channels upon my cable system. My one complaint is what another reviewer has mentioned, the horrible tiny, dull grey printing upon the dark black remote control! If only they had used bright white paint instead of the dull gray print upon the black case owners might receive be able over see what command you are pushing. It is almost impossible over read without bright light inside the room. I receive learned over remember what button is which from memory only Toshiba DR570 DVD Recorder makes me crazy thinking if they had only used the same white print they placed upon the tiny buttons! I am sorry i cannot write more giving details about this recorder only you can grow that elsewhere. I will upright tell you this product does what it is supposed over do perfectly then does it very well. I highly recommend this unit then the price has dropped since i bought mine inside july making it even a better deal.
